Heather Hopkins Berndt is a Spokane-based graphic designer, artist and retreat leader with a passion for inspiring others to explore the divine through creativity and soulful living. As a certified SoulCollage® Facilitator, she offers experiences grounded in the holy trinity of spirituality, creativity and psychology. A grateful woman in recovery for nearly two decades, Heather frequently weaves the wisdom of the 12 steps throughout her work and is developing an online course and accompanying e-book integrating this spiritual practice with expressive and contemplative arts.

Heather attended Eastern Washington University where she studied Integrated Communications. She is also associated with the Monastery of St. Gertrude in Cottonwood, ID, a Benedictine community where she has participated in many retreats and is a co-facilitator for the Embracing the Artistic Call Cohort program. Her design business. Lemonade Graphics, caters to the needs of small to mid-sized do-gooders including non-profits, healthcare providers and professional services.

Heather believes in being of service to her community and has volunteered for a variety of organizations including Spokane Family Promise, Second Harvest Food Bank, and Christ Kitchen. From 2015-2016 she was the Visual Communications Chair of the Spokane MarCom Board and is currently a member of the marketing committee for Spokane Faith and Values/Spokane Interfaith Council.
