Heather Hopkins Berndt is a Spokane-based graphic designer, artist and retreat leader with a passion for inspiring others to explore the divine through creativity and soulful living. As a certified SoulCollage® Facilitator, she offers experiences grounded in the holy trinity of spirituality, creativity and psychology.
Heather attended Eastern Washington University where she studied Integrated Communications and is currently pursuing training as a Spiritual Director. A student of Monastic wisdom, Heather is associated with the Monastery of St. Gertrude in Cottonwood, ID, a Benedictine community where she has participated in many retreats and has been a co-facilitator for the Embracing the Artistic Call Cohort program since 2015. Her design business. Lemonade Graphics, caters to the needs of small to mid-sized do-gooders including non-profits, healthcare providers and professional services.
A grateful woman in recovery for nearly two decades, Heather frequently weaves the wisdom of the 12 steps throughout her work and serves the community through a variety of organizations including Spokane Faith and Values and the Ministry Institute. From 2015-2016 she was the Visual Communications Chair of the Spokane MarCom Board.
